Thanks to Linda’s SoCS challenge to use “xp” It brought me to the lovely and intimidating word (which rarely applies to my writing): expeditious.

Words wrung from the depths
Expeditious writing

Yearning for closure
To repair my broken heart

spring’s perfect timbre

Summer hit Florida full on this week so I was a bit nostalgic for a midwestern spring until I saw that it snowed up there this week! So here’s hoping for a real spring for my northern fam and friends and a bit more springish temps for me. 😉
Thanks to Ronovan Writes Haiku Challenge. Our words this week are pitch and tone. I substituted timbre for pitch.
