to forgive the past
is only enigmatic
if unrecognized
Today’s haiku inspired by the always there when ya need him FOWC (forgive) and Linda’s new challenge to #JusJoJan with a little help from Virgo Beauty Word Prompt (enigmatic) I’m late to the game but I’ve arrived now.
MADNESS TAKES ITS TOLL
LIKE THE CLOUDS BEFORE THE DAWN
DANCING WITH THE LIGHT
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Thanks to Fandago’s Word Prompt (madness) for taking my mind to one of my favorite shows of all time. And thanks to Sue’s Photo Prompt for the added inspiration. Originally my brain took the “madness takes its toll” idea to a DARK place, but Sue’s photo brought me back to the light.
And as a reminder …
find new year’s hope
by seeking revolution
rising from the ash
Thanks to Ronovan Writes for the word inspiration (seek/find).
And here’s hoping for a new and better year–where people come together and create change. Let this be the year that sees him (and his enablers) gone!
Peace.
Singularity
Expanding in space and time
As day dawns again
As day dawn again
Spinning ‘round the milky way
A new year is born
A new year is born
As space and time expanded
Singular no more
This cascading style haiku was inspired by Heeding Haiku’s Challenge to write a haiku incorporating the idea of good luck and by Sue’s Photo Prompt.
Seeing Sue’s picture made me think of our good luck that the Big Bang (AKA theory of singularity) gave us this beautiful world as well as the space and time we live in.
Here’s hoping we do a better job of stewardship in the coming year.
to be chaste no more
underneath the blushing moon
as dark brings him nigh
Thanks for the inspiration Ronovan Writes Haiku Challenge
