rising together
in harmonic convergence
to share our voices

Thanks to Ronovan Writes for the haiku challenge words (share / voice) and to Sadje for her What Do You See photo inspiration. It brought the idea of “harmonic convergence” into my mind.

rising together
in harmonic convergence
to share our voices

Thanks to Ronovan Writes for the haiku challenge words (share / voice) and to Sadje for her What Do You See photo inspiration. It brought the idea of “harmonic convergence” into my mind.
“Five hundred bucks! You can’t spend that much money on a balloon! It’s crazy.”
“It’s our anniversary babe. No expense spared. Plus I had some money put back. Don’t worry. We’re golden.” It had only been a month but she’d see. It would be perfect! Then she’d say yes. We’d be together forever. I was sure of it. Ignoring the look in her eyes, I stroked the velvet box in my pocket and imagined our future. Her words barely penetrated my reverie.
“We need to talk. I’m sorry … I can’t …. Maybe you can still get your money back.”

as the world transforms
two minds and two hearts connect
synchronicity

Thanks to Colleen. This week’s challenge required a poem using synonyms only for the word prompts of transition and harmony so I substituted in transforms and synchronicity. Head over to her page for details and some great writing.

her heart in conflict

Thanks to Ronovan Writes for the inspiration. Our words today were gypsy (which I have substituted Romani) and conflict.
