the return of the exiled wannabe king

rough like bark and brush

babbling water turns putrid

as the snake returns

with false speech and slight of hand

his rap still charms the sparrows

This Sunday, Benda gives us the following words in her Sunday Whirl:
hands brush water sparrows snake babbling slot rap piped bark exiled speech

Doesn’t really help to vent but I had to go where the words take me!

Humpty Dumpty Had a Great Fall

I must vent, he roared.

Cracking open the window,

he cried as he fell:

What about the price of eggs!

Now, he’s the one cracked open.

Today’s three words for pensitivity’s challenge are:
UPLIFT
VENT
WINDOW

Sadly, I could find no uplift. Maybe tomorrow.

the monkey*

the monkey gazes

adoringly at himself

as they kiss his ass

trump-mirror

Views are my own but thanks for the inspiration to Ronovan Writes and his challenge to use chimpanzee (which I subbed in monkey) and kiss in a haiku.

*My apologies to actual monkeys, apes, chimps ….
