Paris on my Mind

Dreaming of the past

When lanterns blazed the night sky   

And stars sparkled bright

Illuming a boundless hope

For tomorrow’s future

In the midst of all the terrible awful horrible things happening in the good ol’ USA, I have been feeling a bit hopeless. I’ve also been thinking (dreaming) of traveling (escaping). Sadly my budget no longer supports much in the way of travel abroad but Linda’s Just Jot January prompt (Paris), courtesy of Forty and Fantastique fit my mood perfectly. And THEN I saw Helene’s What Do You See photo prompt and it all came together.

Trying to get my mojo back today and the confluence of prompts from SoCS (mean) and Putting my Feet in the Dirt (captivating confines) and FOWC (disrupt) helped do the trick! Thanks y’all.
