Haiku & Other Poetry, tutto e niente

I see a budding bloom

I see a budding bloom

wafting in the breeze

Its petals beckon to the bees

like the newly wedded groom

I see a budding bloom

Gazing towards the trees

a blossom hopes to please

Like the new bride’s swoon

I see a budding bloom

Night comes in like a tease

And the flower feels unease

But under the light of the rising moon

I see a budding bloom

I was inspire by this image and dverse poets ballata poetry form challenge. I’m not sure if I like my finished product, but it was a fun challenge! Thanks!

  1. I love the wedding theme with the refrain: I see a budding bloom.

Like the newly wedded groom and new bride’s swoon, this poem is filled with promises and hope. Thanks for joining in.
