Falling Through Life

Falling

Sweet Lullabies

And a Good Night Moon

Falling

Fast Cars and Slow Songs

Morning’s Light

Falling

Looking Ahead from Behind

Caught In Quicksand

Falling

Moon Beams and Starshine

A Path Illuminated

Falling

Dot Dot Dashing By

Slow Down

Falling

Jagged Edges

Cutting Deep

I know I’m late to this challenge but I was feeling inspired. Thanks to Dverse Poets Quadrille Monday!

  1. Feeling inspired is as good a reason as any to write, and as I tell myself and others: it’s never too late to start. And having in-spired, don’t forget to breathe out too… and again…

I love the way you weave your chosen version of the Fall prompt, “Falling” throughout your quadrille, Tina.

I “ouch-ed” at the jagged edges cutting deep, and send a tender holding of that.

The phrase reminds me of a poem I wrote nearly half a lifetime ago, and some of the Edges are still capable of Cutting Deep. One day I may publish it … I am happy to share it with you over email privately. [You could leave me a message at writingpresence.com/contact ]

Thank you for liking my Fallen poem!

    1. Thanks do much for your kind words. Not surprisingly (for me) that jagged edges stanza was written first.
This past year has been a very challenging one. I’ve really struggled to write. I don’t think I’ve been ready to allow things out. Trying to be patient with myself.
I’d love to read your take — I’ll send a message.
