Haiku & Other Poetry, tutto e niente

unguarded wonder

a moon so intense

I imagine heroin

unguarded wonder

my mind immersed in brightness

trying to find my way home

Thanks for the inspiration to FOWC and Tanka Tuesday.

Haiku & Other Poetry, tutto e niente

buried fury

buried deep inside

embers turn to ash and bone

waiting for a spark

rekindled love fans the flames

the candle burns with fury

Today’s FOWC (CANDLE) and the WDYS photo prompt brought to mind fury and love and buried secrets… thus my bit of verse. Thanks to both for the inspiration.

Haiku & Other Poetry, tutto e niente

and all that jazz: the Sunday Whirl

draped in velvet fog

filmy thoughts and fingertips

a touch forgotten

reveal that moment

starlight strips back the curtain

the crowd roars your name

I love to try and create meaning with minimal words. Did I? Who knows?!

Thanks for the great inspiration.

Haiku & Other Poetry, tutto e niente

fall’s spill

autumn’s falling seeds

spill out along our ramble

nature’s fall greeting

Thanks to Crimson’s Creative Challenge and the RDP Challenge for a great word (SPILL) and photo inspiration for this little Monday morning ditty.
