Haiku & Other Poetry, tutto e niente

ode to autumn’s sunflower

boundless autumn days

burning red and yellow haze

the muddled trees weep

as the sparrows soar and sing

lifted by the sun’s last bloom

Haiku & Other Poetry, tutto e niente

I see a budding bloom

I see a budding bloom

wafting in the breeze

Its petals beckon to the bees

like the newly wedded groom

I see a budding bloom

Gazing towards the trees

a blossom hopes to please

Like the new bride’s swoon

I see a budding bloom

Night comes in like a tease

And the flower feels unease

But under the light of the rising moon

I see a budding bloom
