dark gives way to light
a nova bursts then dies
life’s circle unveiled
as the stars of the night sky
reveal themselves de novo

sun lit memories
of wine stained molten kisses
warm the bitter nights
as lips once burnt by fire
still smolder in the mind’s eye

my spirit defies limits
soaring to new heights

This bit of wishful thinking was inspired by Colleen’s Synonyms Only Challenge. I used “spirit” for nature and “unhampered” for clear. Check out the details and other contributions here.
