Mother Nature’s Spring Mix

Summer hit Florida full on this week so I was a bit nostalgic for a midwestern spring until I saw that it snowed up there  this week! So here’s hoping for a real spring for my northern fam and friends and a bit more springish temps for me. 😉

Thanks to Ronovan Writes Haiku Challenge.  Our words this week are pitch and tone. I substituted timbre for pitch.

Winter Comes

Unbidden flurry

Nature’s scythe forsaking fall

Fractured and formless

This is dedicated to my northern family and friends enduring their second (or is it their third?) early snowfall of the year. Florida has its faults (and boy this summer was HOT and LONG) but aaaaahh the winters are SWEET.
